Ninth Day of Christmas in July – Nine Jolly Saint Nicks
Yes, There IS a Santa Claus!
If there was ever any doubt, just look through our Christmas Pattern Department! We have a Santa Trio that features not one, but three jolly Saint Nicks to applique. Santa is also spotlighted in our Christmas Trio. This pattern series is popular because it includes free website tutorials for each pattern.
Our Turn of the Century Santa blows his own horn. He’s realistically appliqued to capture all the details that make Santa so magical. Santa’s Woodland Visit also features those special details.
Our Redwork Embroidery Patterns are another customer favorite and we have several that feature Santa. This stocking features Santa & Toys. Many toys have escaped from Santa’s sack and onto these charming ornaments for your tree or mantle. Santa can be embroidered on a stocking or finished as a wall hanging. This is a good pattern for beginners because you can start with the ornaments and work up to Mr. Claus. Another easy embroidery pattern is our Santa Claus Iron-on Transfer Pattern. This classic pose is based on a drawing by Thomas Nast, who helped made Santa Claus an American institution. You can use this pattern to make a beautiful quilt or wall hanging and reuse it to make a matching pillow.
If you’re a dedicated redworker, you won’t want to miss our Here Comes Santa Quilt. It features a dozen darling Kris Kringles set off by red sashing.
Santa Rides features a magical scene with the reindeer flying across the moon while pulling Santa’s sleigh. It would make the perfect wall hanging for your child or grandchild’s room. And if your little ones want to know how Santa’s reindeer are able to find their house, ask them to help you make up some Magic Reindeer Food.
Magic Reindeer Food
Mix heaping tablespoons of bird seed, dry oatmeal or cereal (such as oat rings, rice crisps or wheat flakes) and red and green sugar crystals. On Christmas Eve, sprinkle the mixture on the lawn. The reindeer will smell the food and pull Santa’s sleigh right to your house. Makes enough food for eight reindeer plus Rudolph (and maybe a little extra for the birds and squirrels, too!) Run, run, reindeer!
P.S. All our Christmas Patterns and Christmas Books are 20% OFF until July 26! That’s enough to make anyone go Ho, Ho. Ho!
